This project focuses on finding tradeoffs between economic gains, ecological sustainability, and environmental conservation in subsistence farming in Eastern Uganda. It involves analyzing indicators like poverty, soil quality, health, water quality, biodiversity, and climate change. Scenarios include input-output price policies, technology development, and infrastructure improvements to enhance sustainable farming practices. The project aims to formulate and submit proposals, organize workshops with stakeholders, review and adapt datasets, model production and environmental impacts, and publish findings for feedback and further development.
