Meet Ms. J. Clough, the dedicated MS/HS Social Studies teacher at AISK, with a diverse background as a Half-Jamaican/Half-Venezuelan educator. She holds degrees from Duke University and MICO Teacher’s College, with IB Economics training. Currently in her 4th year at AISK, she teaches Geography 7, US History, and IB Economics, fostering critical thinking through various teaching methods. Committed to lifelong learning, she sponsors a Model United Nations club and integrates AERO Standards and IB Curriculum into her classes. Model United Nations • AISK club that prepares students for an international simulation of the United Nations (a international diplomacy club). • Student information session sometime in September 2011 during lunch. • Benefits • .25 Academic Credit • About 30 CAS hours (IB Students). • Requirements: • Attendance to Weekly after school meetings • Attendance to an MUN conference • GPA requirement & Good Conduct • Cost: $1,000 (includes airfare, hotel and select activities). • Fundraising.
