  2. Food for thought… everyone stand up! You’re at school – your packed lunch has been made, sit downif you ever throw some away… …then at home, dinner is served. Sit down if you don’t eat all of your dinner because there is too much… …at dinner, lots of food has been made (maybe a big lasagne), stay standing up if leftovers get kept, frozen or eaten next day…

  4. What is EWWR? • EWWR is a European Union-wide initiative • It encourages people to produce less waste • EWWR runs 17th – 25th November 2012 • There are 20 Countries taking part • This year’s theme for NI is food waste

  5. Our School and EWWR? • We are an Eco-School - EWWR is a good way to help reduce food waste. • By registering our school we will help NI to do well in EWWR. • As part of EWWR we will learn more about food waste and the Love Food Hate Waste Initiative. • We will take practical actions to reduce food waste which will help save money and the environment  • We will help raise awareness about food waste. • We will encourage others to produce less food waste.
