Ear Training

Discover the art of Ear Training, a technique that assigns names to familiar sounds, allowing us to identify melodies based on our previous experiences. By recognizing the intervals between notes, such as Major and Minor Seconds or Whole and Half Steps, you can improve your musical abilities. Learn to associate melodies with specific intervals, with examples like "Frere Jacques" for M2 going up and "Mary Had a Little Lamb" for M2 going down. This guide will help you connect melodies like “Here Comes the Bride” and “Twinkle, Twinkle” to their respective musical intervals.
