  13. Answers • Rome is in Italy. • Italy is in Europe. • Britain is an island. • Italy is not an island. • Italy is almost an island. • Italy is a “peninsula.”

  14. How about these sentences? • Suntviae et silvae in Italia. • Italia et Graecia et Hispania paeninsulaesunt. • Estne Graecia in Europa? • Est aqua in Antarctica, sed non suntsilvae in Antarctica. • Silvae in Germaniasunt.

  15. Answers! • There are roads and forests in Italy. • Italy and Greece and Spain are peninsulas. • Is Greece in Europe? • There is water in Antarctica, but there aren’t forests in Antarctica. • Forests are in Germany.

  16. Using your vocabulary words, make up 3 additional Latin sentences. You may also use other –a words like Florida, Bermuda, India, Arabia, Virginia, Philadelphia, etc.

  17. Let’s Play “Quiz-Quiz-Trade!” Write your 3 sentences on the sticky note. Find a partner. Quiz each other on your sentences. Trade sticky notes. Find a new partner and repeat!
