Please Mark Your calendar: • Starting December 24th students are out until January 2nd • I have gotten the okay to reschedule any seminars done on December 22 and 23 or give full credit – Merry Christmas because you will be getting full credit! Woo-hoo!

University VACATION What does it mean… • ALL Assignments/Projects/Exercises will still be due on January 5th • Students will still be required to post to the Discussion Board for weeks 3 by January 4th • Don’t have to post by Saturday, just post by Tuesday 1/4/11 in order to get credit • Students will have access to their courses during the Winter break and can post at any time

(adjective) • Capitalize x-ray only when it is the first word in a sentence. • Avoid using the prefix re- with x-ray. Recast the sentence to avoid this usage. • We are going to x-ray her again. • Plain vs. plane films: The correct term is plain which refers to an x-ray that has been done without contrast. It is not a reference to a directional plane or surface. • Plain film of the abdomen was negative.
