  6. Three different categories of registries • ”interventions”, eg. hip arthroplasty operation or heart surgery • ”diagnosis – based on an episode of a certain acute disease”, eg. myocardial infarction or stroke • ”diagnosis – chronic diseases”, eg. diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis
