Elementary Schools Each School Will Host a PTA or Parent Group Function with a Career Pathways Focus Each Teacher Will Host At Least One Career Speaker (Parent or Community Friend) Per Year Professional School Counselors Will Teach Grade Specific Lessons Focused on Career Readiness Skills Conduct Career Pathways Training in September or October Awareness

Elementary Schools Build AWARENESS of Career Pathways and Develop Career Readiness Skills Professional School Counselors Will Conference with 5th Grade Students and Parents to Discuss Career Interests and Resources 4th and 5th Grade Students will Complete the VA Career View Inventory Host an Annual Career Fair with Parents and/or Community Friends as Presenters Awareness

Middle Schools Support EXPLORATION of Career Pathways and Develop Career Readiness Skills Professional School Counselors Will Conference with 8th Grade Students and Parents to Discuss VA Wizard Results • By the End of the First Semester, All 8th Graders Will Complete the VA Wizard Assessment 7th Graders will Host An Annual Student-Generated Career Fair (Students will select, research, and present careers) Exploration
