LINES. There are so many kinds Of lines you can use So come with me now And let’s look at a few. Lines can be straight With no turns or bends Straight as train tracks From start to end. Lines like to curve To stretch over a pool On a hidden foot bridge In the shade where it’s cool.

  2. Lines can be straight With no turns or bends Straight as train tracks From start to end.

  3. Lines like to curve To stretch over a pool On a hidden foot bridge In the shade where it’s cool.

  4. Wavy lines curve here and curve there. Elephant trunks swinging back and forth in the air

  5. Zig-zag lines cut through the sky Like bats in the night or mountains so high.

  6. Lines can be thin Lines can be thick. They can grow from a trunk To a new slender stick.

  7. Lines that are vertical Go up and down On the masts of ships Or the skyscrapers downtown.

  8. Horizontal lines Go from side to side In the distant horizon At the sandy seaside.

  9. Some lines are diagonal Going uphill and down Lines that can lean Or fly high over a crowd.

  10. So now you see How artists use lines To make great art And have a great time.
