  1. Future of Careers in Hadoop

  2. Why should hadoop be learnt and who can learn it? As most of us are aware it is not an easy task to store large amount of data. Hence, many corporate and large sized companies seek help of a tool called Hadoop. This software was developed by Doug Cutting, also known as the creator of Apache Lucene.

  3. Before we get further into exploring this phenomenal application , let us understand how it originated.  In February 2006, Hadoop was adopted by Yahoo Grid team.  January 2008 was the year when Hadoop made its own top-level project at Apache, confirming its success and diverse active community.

  4.  April 2008 marks the year when Hadoop broke the world record to become the fastest system to sort a terabyte of data.

  5. So this was all about Hadoop’s history now why should we learn hadoop that’s the main question, how is it beneficial to us? And why big companies use Hadoop?
