  2. Risk factors for disease • My client is at risk for the following diseases based on his case study: • Coronary Heart Disease • Type II Diabetes • Hypertension • Sedentary Death Syndrome

  3. 3 Behavioral Goals for my client • Take in 80 calories fewer per day. • Go for a 30 minute walk/run on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. • Limit desserts to once per week and don’t buy any chocolate just to have on hand.

  4. My client’s RHR and workout HR • Resting Heart Rate: 115 • Heart Rate Reserve: 68.5 • Heart Rate Range for Training: • 142.4-173.2 bpm

  5. Cardio prescription • 4 times per week • 30 minutes each workout • Jogging/Walking, Biking, Swimming

  6. Week one cardio • Jog for 2 min, then walk for 2 min • Do this for 30 minutes • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

  7. Week two cardio • Jog for 8min, then walk for 2 min • Do this for 30 minutes • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

  8. Week three cardio • Bike to and from the field • Jog for 8 min, then walk for 2 min • Do this for 30 minutes • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday

  9. Week four cardio • Swim 50m then 2 min rest • Do this for 30 minutes • Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
