  3. EOT-PACI Goals • To demonstratethe use of NSF PACI technologies and resources among diverse audiences by leveraging PACI thrust / team efforts. • To increase the participation of underrepresented groups, including persons with disabilities, in computer science, and engineering, and information technology. • To enable broad national impact in education, government, science, business, and society with systemic, sustainable, scalable programs.

  4. EOT-PACI/AN-MSI • Awarded grant to develop infrastructure and skills needed to take advantage of advanced computational tools and resources. • Develops partnerships with those MSIs that utilize high performance computing. • Make emerging technologies accessible to learners and educators at all levels

  5. EOT-PACI/ANMSI • Overarching Goal: • The overarching goal of EOT-PACI sponsored events within AN-MSI is to foster collaborative relationships between faculty and administrators at participating MSIs and computational research scientists at major research centers, thus increasing awareness and exposure to relevant and current mainstream HPC technologies as well as increasing computational science research and education at MSIs.

  6. EOT-PACI/AN-MSI Assessment Activities • JUNE/JULY • Met with the LEAD Center to continue existing assessments efforts. • Working towardestablishing comprehensive data collection process to assess if we are reaching the EOT-PACI/AN-MSI goals. • Developed a database of EOT-PACI/AN-MSI program participants. • Developing a standard program assessment/evaluation for each EOT-PACI/AN-MSI event • LEAD Center working at SC01 to assist with assessment efforts and have developed an on-line survey for SC01 MSI participants
