Orbis Cascade Alliance DDA Pilot, YBP & GOBI • Combines YBP’s approval services with EBL’s platform • DDA presents patrons across the Alliance with a growing database of titles that may be browsed, loaned, or purchased • The service utilizes YBP Approval Profiling methodology to ensure that appropriate titles are added to the pool of titles available • EBL free browse and Short-Term-Loan (STL) functionalities are based on Alliance preferences • GOBI facilitates duplication control across ebook and print book purchases and/or Slip Notifications

3. Orbis Cascade Alliance DDA Pilot, YBP & GOBI • Each week as titles release based on the Alliance DDA Pilot Approval Profile, a title feed is sent to EBL • EBL loads titles to the Alliance’s channel and sends an acknowledgement back to YBP letting us know that titles are eligible for DDA • YBP displays the titles as ‘Slips’ sent on the Orbis Cascade Alliance base account • Simultaneously, titles are displayed as ‘Slips’ sent to the Orbis Cascade Alliance in GobiTween • Selectors at individual Alliance libraries can then see in GOBI, at the title level, whether a given ebook is part of the DDA Pilot
