  2. Plaucheville Elementary School Leadership Team Evaluation Results:Domain: Academic AchievementAlignment to StandardsInsufficient – Neither parish ELA nor Math Curriculum follows the state’s GEC. PES follows the parish curriculum.EngagementMinimal Practices – Student engagement level not deemed acceptable overall. Learning environment is not deemed as an inquiry based environment over 80% of the time in 80% or more of the classrooms. InterventionReading–Fundamental - Data analyzed regularly and intervention practices adjusted accordingly Math – Minimal- Data not analyzed regularly nor intervention adjusted enough to be deemed with a Fundamental Rating. Data collected in insufficient intervals.

Most of resources and time are spent in Intervention.Effective Use of TechnologyMinimal – Seamless integration of technology is not evidenced in 80% or more of learning environments.Ethical Use of TechnologyInsufficient – Insufficient practices evident in the instruction of safe use of technology.Assessment for LearningMinimal – Pacing of the curriculum is not adjusted based upon proficiency levels of students in formative and summative data assessment instruments in 80% or more of learning environments.

  6. In 2009-2010, PES attained a score of 96% in student engagement as rated by JBHM Walkthroughs. Engagement was simply defined as students participating in the instructional lesson. Engagement will now be defined as a student who is actively engaged. Levels of engagement will be determined by PES’ standardized rating scale. Evidence of implementation of the WBL strategies will be monitored. Needs assessment
