Asian Trade Promotion Forum (ATPF) • Established in 1987 • Has no Permanent Secretariat • JETRO serves as secretariat of Working Level Meeting for ATPF CEO Meeting • Started with 10 Trade Promotion Organizations (TPOs) • Current members : 23 • The Forum’s objectives • To deepen mutual understanding among member TPOs • To discuss effective projects for trade promotion through frank exchanging opinion at the CEO meeting

Decisions in the 24th CEO Meeting in Taipei 1.The host of CEO meetingin 2012 (DEP,Thailand) 2.Membership Policy and Criteria (1)TPPD,LaoP.D.R Joined ATPF (2)New Membership Policy and Criteria (Undecided) ⇒CEO meeting directed WLM to discuss the New Membership Policy and Criteria again. (3)Minimum Requirement for Membership 　・HostingCEO Meetingis not obligatory ・Three year consecutive absent of CEO meeting would be the cancellation of the Membership.

Decisions in the 24th CEO Meeting in Taipei ２.Membership Policy and Criteria (4)Procedure for Handling Observers at the CEO meeting ・The hosting TPO is free to invite observers of its choice. ・Observers should notified in advance of the membership situation. ・Observers will not be permitted to attend sessions that cover internal ATPF matters including the adoption of the Joint Statement and Summery of Discussions.
