  3. Fractal Design Define XL R2 (Black Pearl) ATX Full Tower Case Case: I chose this for my gaming computer’s case due to it’s tall design that allows storage for multiple parts and it’s room for video-cards which is vital for gaming. It’s tower like shape gives it a nice look also.

  5. AMD A6-5400K 3.6GHz Dual-Core Processor CPU: I chose this CPU due to it’s ability to run modern games and still have a great speed. I think this will suit it’s gaming purposes nicely and it already comes with a CPU cooler which is a great combo.

  7. Asus A88XM-A Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard Motherboard: I chose this as my motherboard for it’s pretty decently cheap price and it’s standard abilities to suit the needs of the gaming desktop. As you can see, it contains all the ports that we will need to make it compatiable.

  9. Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Memory: I chose this part for my memory due to it’s 8GB size (2 x 4GB) which will be Perfect for the needs of gaming and has it’s second 4GB for back-up.

  11. OCZ Fatal1ty 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply Powersupply: I chose this part for my power supply for it’s bad-ass look and 750wattage that is absolutely sublime for the gaming purposes.

  13. PNY GeForce GTX 780 3GB Video Card Videocard: I chose this part for my video card because of it’s Geforce name (High quality) and it’s 750 series chip size which will suit our gaming needs.

  14. Corsair Force Series 3 60GB 2.5" Solid State Disk Storage: I chose this part for my desktop because of it’s high capacity of 60GB and decent price.

  15. LG UH12LS29 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer Optical Drive: I chose this as my optical drive for it’s 3D and bluray capabilities.

  16. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) Operating System: Basic and premium quality operating system running with windows 7.

  17. Verdict: • Using PC part picker as a guide and amazon as a supplier, I chose only top notch parts for my gaming desktop to run smoothly with our gaming needs. • I think this will be a great choice of desktop for our class to assemble and school to use.
