  1. Proverbs 31:30-31 30Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. 31Give her the reward she has earned, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

  3. Priority #1: SAVIOR ll Timothy 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. “leads” speaks of anticipation

  4. Susanah Wesley prayed an hour each day for her children. She had six rules for teaching her children to have Jesus as Lord.

  5. Subdue self-will in the child. Teach them to pray as soon as they can speak. Give them nothing they cry for and only what is good for them when they ask politely. Punish no fault confessed, but let no sinful act go unnoticed. Reward good behavior. Strictly observe all promises you have made to your child.

  6. Priority #2:SCRIPTURE llTimothy 3:15a “and that from childhood you haveknown the sacred writings...” llTimothy 3:16 “All Scripture is inspired by God...”

  9. Priority #3:SERVICE llTimothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

  10. All Timothy’s instruction in the word had to do with preparing him for service to the Lord.

  11. Is your child ready to serve God? Are you preparing them with scripture? Are you leading them to the Savior? Are you teaching them to serve Jesus?

  12. There are at least two emotions that come with every birth: OhBoy! OhMy!
