  2. Resources • Mali’s main resource peanuts, butsome gold has been found innorthern parts of the country.

  3. People and size • Mali has 1.6 of all the people that live in Africa and the land covers 1.24 million square kilometers.

  5. Clothing and food • The usual clothingis florescent cotton knitting and a normal meal contains chicken and beans.

  6. Jobs • Like most countries in Africa there main jobs are markets and farms.

  7. Economy • Mali’s economy is largely agriculturally based, which is simply saying they get most of their money from growing crops and other products.

  8. The leader • Their leader is AmadouTaumaniToure, he brought along the idea of a multi-party democracy, which is basically what we have, as in Democrat and Republican.

  9. Money making areas. • BAMako (the capital) Timbuktu, Mapti, Djnnene, Seagu, all tourist hot spots.

  10. Land forms • The biggest river that runs through Mali is the Niger River and the highest point is HomboriTondo, the area is mostly covered with desert.
