  2. Whats happening ? • A lot of teens are getting pregnant because they are having unprotected sex . They believe if they go on birth control , they can have sex how ever they feel . • WHO DID IT ?

  3. How ? • Containing a combination of the hormones estrogen and progesterone to prevent ovulation . A woman cannot get pregnant if she doesn’t ovulate because there is no egg to be fertilized . • WHY ? • Is any method used to prevent pregnancy .

  4. Where ? • Each birth control is different , so they are placed in different areas . • The Shot : Buttocks , Upper Arm • The Patch : Abdomen , Buttocks , Upper Arm , Or Upper Torso • WHEN ? • The Pills : Every day around the same time . • The Patch : Change the patch every week for three weeks . • The Shot : Every three months .

  5. Who is affected ? • Each birth control has its own affect . Each persons body is different . It depends on how your body take it . • Some people believe birth control isnt really good for your body . Birth control is changing the way your body suppose to function . • -Brest tenderness , and enlargement • -Nausea , headaches , dizziness • -Mood changes ,irregular bleeding
