  3. Book Cover The book cover relates to the book because it is the cover of the book.

  4. Jets Logo The New York Jets logo relates to the book because Troy (the football genius) is hired by the Jets. He has a special ability to recognize the play before it is ran by the other team.

  5. Headset The headset relates to the book because Troy helps the coach on the sideline. Troy tells the coach the play the other team is going to run. Then the coach signals in the defensive call to the linebacker. The linebacker tells the team what play it is and they stop the offense.

  6. High School Football High school football relates to the book because Troy White and his friend Chuku Moore play on the varsity high school team as eighth graders. They lead their team to the high school playoffs after their program has never made it to the playoffs.

  7. Small House After Troy signed a contract with the Jets he gets a five million dollar signing bonus. Unfortunately Troy’s dad gets in trouble with the mob and loses all of Troy and his mom’s money. So Troy and his mom are forced to live in a small house when they should be in a mansion.

  8. Court A court relates to the book because after Troy and his team have such a successful season people accused them of recruiting which is illegal in high school football.
