  5. “If” – EI; a 2nd class condition, (contrary-to-fact condition), “if and you do not”. The premise is untrue.

  7. They have not AGAPE loved the Lord in the past which is causing them sorrow at this time.

  8. AGAPE love demands application of knowledge – Bible Doctrine. It is not based on relationship but on the mentality of the soul.

  17. 2. AGAPAO is a special love, referring to the mentality of the soul where PHILEO love is more of the outward demonstration of affection based on the inward attitude of love.

  18. 3. AGAPAO is strictly a mental attitude and excludes emotion. Your emotions respond when you have AGAPE love, but it’s not based on your emotions.

  28. 10. It is the realization of Christ’s priestly petition in John 17:26, “…so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

  29. 11. It is simply God’s love working within and out through the believer.

  30. 12. This love can not be humanly produced or even successfully imitated because it goes out to the objects of divine affection and grace, rather than to the objects of human desire.

  34. Jude 1:21,“Keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.”

  36. James 1:12,“Blessed is the person who perseveres under testing, because when he becomes approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.”

  37. Eph 6:23-24,“Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with incorruptible love.”
