  3. Love's Necessity It is easier to be orthodox than to be loving, and easier to be active in church work that to be loving. Yet the supreme characteristic that God demands of His people is love.   9. How can we love like this? • Don't wait on your feelings. Act. • Preach the gospel to yourself every day. • 7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
