  1. Precode Process Overview Imelda “Mel” Go Assessment

  2. The precode data are collected for several testing programs and SCDE initiatives. • Each data collection has a Data Registry Advisory Committee (DRAC) number (e.g., SDE-12-0001). • All schools are required to participate in precoding efforts for all applicable testing programs.

  3. PRE+CODE refers to electronic data that is collected from the student information system and shared with the testing contractors so that they can prelabel/precode/preidentify answer sheets and test booklets. PRECODE = a lot of time and effort saved + convenience What does “precode” mean?
