  1. Literacy Building Photographs of adaptations and modifications used to teach literacy with the use of Attainment’s “Early Literacy Skill Building”program.

  2. Chunking Words Chunking words into syllables is one skill practiced to teach phonemic awareness.

  3. Student actively participates utilizing the one step talker to engage in a repeated story line. All-Turn-It Spinner allows the student to participate in selecting the vocabulary word.

  4. The student is able to independently read and select the correct vocabulary word.

  5. The student uses the Partner Four to correctly select and say the vocabulary words. Gestural prompt is used to assist the student. Looking and studying the word. With the use of the talker the student is able to say the word.

  6. The interactive board is the student’s preference for an alternate pencil activity for accessing writing. Boardmaker Speaking Dynamically Pro alphabet programs is utilized here. Trrrrrr

  7. This student’s alternate pencil is raised alphabet letters on an IntelliKeys Keyboard. Because of limited vision, he must feel and select the raised letters for writing.
