The Emery/Winslow Flattop Scale is a robust platform measuring 40’x11’, supported by a 12” thick raft slab foundation. It features two 10’ level approaches and 25’ decent ramps, ensuring smooth vehicle transitions. With hydrostatic load cells that withstand water and lightning, the scale boasts a 75K capacity using only 6 load cells. Its clean design minimizes components beneath the deck, enhancing maintenance. The scale comes with a 10-year load cell warranty, ensuring long-term reliability. This introduction details the pouring of the raft slab, base slab installation, and the final calibration process.

The scale to be shown is an Emery/Winslow Flattop Scale Platform is 40’x11’ with site rails. The foundation is a raft slab design that is 12” thick and has (2) 10’ level approaches, also there is 25’ decent ramps. The scale has an optional 3/8” deck plate. Features: Hydrostatic load cells that are immune to water and lightning 75K load cells requiring only 6 in the entire scale. Flattop deck “Steel” Very clean design with few components under the deck and no electronic components. 10 year load cell Warranty Introduction to a Flattop scale
Pouring of 12” raft slab • Base slab is one continuous pour and is heavily reinforced
Preparing approach installation • Finishing the base slab and preparing the 10’ (level) approaches
