  4. Presentation including homework! • Presentation guide Y3 and 4 • I will use a pencil for my maths work, drawing, tables and charts. • I will use a BLUE fibre tip pen for all written work. NO ballpoint, biro, eraser, cartridge or felt tip pens!! • Thursday 9th May 2013 ( maths short date 09.05.13) • Can I set my work out correctly? • Work • Mistakes will be shown by using one straight line using a ruler. • I will not write on the top line. • I will start a new page if I have less than half a page to write on. If I’ve more than half a page I’ll rule off. • I will begin writing at the margin. • When I start a new paragraph I will start a new line. • Handwriting will be joined, neat so that it can be read. Letters will sit on the line and not go over the spine of the book.

  7. Your child will need Pencil case – to fit in a tray and include a blue fibre tip pen (preferably Berol), pencil, ruler, eraser, whiteboard pen and cloth, highlighters and colouring pencils. PE kit – indoor and outdoor, swimming Art shirt Book bag Water bottle Own document folder A reminder list is given out each term. Everything should be named

  8. 1st Day 8:45am – bell rung, children to line up on the playground At 3.30pm children will wait with the class teacher to be collected at the top of the car park Registration at 8:55am.

  9. Wider opportunities • Y4 children only • Will be once a week with specialist teachers from the music service • Focus on musicianship and then build up to playing an instrument • Performance opportunities in school and the Assembly Rooms • Choose to extend lesson in Y5 at a subsidised cost
