  2. La interpretación no sirve solamente para decodificar un texto, sino que también para reconstruirlo y complementarlo a partir de nuestra experiencia

  3. De lo anterior se deduce que un texto, mensaje, etc. no tiene una única interpretación, sino que admite tantas lecturas como lectores tenga.

  4. Convergencia interpretativa • Significa que se está de acuerdo sobre el punto de vista que sostienen

  5. Divergencia interpretativa Se presenta cuando se tienen miradas diferentes o incluso opuestas sobre un tema, hecho, texto, etc.

  6. En el caso de los MCM una misma noticia puede tener diferentes interpretaciones dependiendo de quien sea el emisor.

  7. Los medios de prensa informan; sin embargo, hay ocasiones en que omiten ciertos temas o acontecimientos porque no coinciden con su visión o “línea editorial”. Por eso es que se entiende que los medios de prensa nos entregan “lecturas” de la realidad.
