This guide provides a comprehensive overview of measuring patients in Manual Mode, particularly those with cataracts or other visual pathologies. It outlines potential challenges such as small pupils, keratoconus, eyelid ptosis, and dry eye. The step-by-step procedure includes transitioning to Manual Mode, ensuring accurate measurements through patient engagement techniques, and following up with topography readings. Finally, it emphasizes the importance of switching back to Auto Mode for subsequent measurements to maintain accuracy.
