  1. AP Exam Registration information Spring 2014

  2. AP Exams – Spring 2014 • Bullet for AP Students and Parents • Inside front cover – please read the information on how your information and scores are reported and the use of your Social Security number. We DO NOT encourage you to provide your SSN. • Repeat test takers – you MUST fill out your information exactly as you did in prior years. If you used your middle name, you must continue to do so. Look at your score report from last year to refresh your memory. We will have that information available in B207, too. • P. 2 – info on earning potential college credit as well as the requirements for the different AP Scholar awards. • P. 2 – The fee for each AP exam is $89. BUT, the State of MN funds part of the exam cost so your fee will only be $45/exam. The State completely covers the exam fees for those on Free/Reduced lunch.

  3. AP Exams – Rules and Regulations • P. 3 – Cell phone/electronic device policy. • You will not be allowed to have your cell phone with you, even in your backpack, during AP exams. All electronic devices will be “bagged and tagged” as you enter the testing room. Cell phones must be powered off (not silenced) and turned over to the proctor of the testing room. You will not be allowed access to these devices until you are dismissed from the exam room at the end of testing. • Violation of the cell phone/electronic device policy will result in immediate removal from the testing room, College Board will be notified and your test will be canceled. Those violating the policy are putting the entire WHS AP program in jeopardy when choosing to ignore the rules and it will not be tolerated. • Please read page 4 of the bulletin so you understand the consequences of testing misconduct. • Page 5 – “What Not to Bring to the Exam Room”

  4. Getting your AP Exam Scores • ONLNE SCORE REPORTS! • P. 8 gives you all of the information you need on score reporting. • If you don’t get your score report by the middle of July, you probably “misbubbled” your information! BE CAREFUL when completing the pre-administration materials at the start of each exam.

  5. 2014 AP Exam schedule

  6. 2014 AP Exam schedule

  7. 2014 AP exam schedule • If any of your AP Exams are scheduled on the same date and time, it will be noticed on your registration and you will be called down to schedule a “late exam” . Late exams are given the week of May 19h. You do not need to worry about the conflict as you are registering. It will be taken care of at a later date. • It does not matter if you have 2 tests on the same day if one is in the morning and one is in the afternoon. You must take all exams as scheduled. • DO NOT REGISTER FOR BOTH CALC AB AND CALC BC! If you took both Calc AB and Calc BC this year, you register for the BC exam. If you took only the first semester of Calculus, you register for the Calc AB exam. See Mrs. Iverson or your Calc teacher if you have questions.

  8. Registering for AP Exams • The registration window will opened on February 1st . • www.wayzata.k12.mn.us/whs/ • A link under “AP Registration” will take you to the Total Registration page. • Students – PLEASE work together with your parents to complete the registration process to ensure the AP exam ordering is accurate.
