  2. AZ Christian University will be in the College and Career Center Mon. Sept 23 @ 9:00.

  3. The Quidditch Team will meet tomorrow, Tues., Sept. 24, both lunches in Mr. Olney's room E207. Come to participate in the greatest mugglesport!

  4. The Hospitality and Design chapter of FCCLA is having an informational mtgTODAY, Tues., Sept. 24 after school. Come to Mrs. McCreary’s rmG184 if you're interested in joining FCCLA after school for about 30 minutes.Therewill be snacks!

  5. Free tutoring by math teachers is once again being offered here at Chaparral.  Yes, you heard right – it’s free tutoring by math teachers…

  6. …Every Tues. and Thurs. there is free tutoring before school , during both lunches, and afterschool.  Check the schedule that is outside of your math classroom for more information.

  7. The choir will be selling AJ’s iced tea by the cafeteria before school on Wednesdays. The sale will begin tomorrow Wed., Sept. 25. Please come & buy some refreshing passion fruit or green tea before class.

  8. DECA shirts are in!  Pay your $15 at the bookstore and bring your receipt to the meeting to claim your shirt.  Also, please pay your $8.00 DECA dues in the bookstore. 

  9. …Interested in joining DECA?  DECA meets this Wednesday after school in Ms. Thornburgh's room, C225.  Come hear about all the great things happening with DECA this year.

  15. Friday, Sept. 27 California Lutheran University is in the College & Career Center @ 9:00, Evergreen State College is here @ 10:00, Vanderbilt also @ 10:00, & Washington and Lee University @ 1:30.

  16. YOU can help the life skills classes with a new recycling project. Life Skills students are partnering with Terracycle to recycle certain items. Right now we are collecting chip & snack bags in the cafeteria. Thanks for your help!
