  3. NATURAL GROWTH

  4. In this context, ICTs are a very important meaning to help rural areas and their inhabitants to access to the Administrative services. eDemocracy/ e Government. Facilitating services for +50 through ICT government policies • DIGITAL DIVIDE: location, age, gender, education. • Infrastructure • Training • Outputs silver economy

  5. Infrastructure • To provide overall material access • 100% of municipalities are connected with broadband. • Without Connectivity, nothing is worthy • Without technological literacy the Connectivity is useless

  6. Training • Motivational access • Skills access • Usage access • How? Trough the New Knowledge Centres spread all over the region. • What for? Ie: To become users of eGovernment, to improve their autonomy, to digitalize cultural heritage.

  7. Outputs to foster attendance for +50 • JARA • SEPAD • SENIOR LAB

JARA PROJECT: Regional Health Care Information System • Professionals in the health sector: • Difficult to access the necessary information • Vital information for a patient might be missing • Thereisredundantinformation • Bureaucracy • Users: • Lowefficiency in deliveringcare • Bureaucracy • Integration motor: paperflow

SEPAD: Extremenian Service to Promote Autonomy and Dependent´s Attention • Organism created by the Regional Goverment to provide such services. • It depends on the Regional Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. • It is a step ahead from healthcare, it looks for the wellbeing of elders and their relatives.

  11. SENIOR LAB • Senior lab is a physical and virtual centre aimed to implement a R+D+I centre on healthcare technology for dependent old people. This centre forms part of the European network of Living labs. • Promotion of independent life and leisure of old people. • Present rural areas as a creative virtual space.
