  1. Structure of the body The purpose of the skeleton is to support the body & Protect the heart lungs and other organs

Muscles Muscles work in pairs to contract / shorten and extend / lengthen to bring about body movement shoulder Tendons attach MUSCLE to BONE Cartilage is fibrous elastic tissue found in the body. In the knee it acts as a pad/ shock absorber between the bones of the upper and lower leg Elbow Ligaments Holds joints in place / restrict the movements of joints
