  1. Cooperative Games Working together to be the best!

  2. Teacher Tag • 2 taggers to start • If you get tagged, you have to do your best impression of one of the teachers to Mrs. Kindrat • If Mrs. Kindrat guesses right then you are free, if she guess wrong, then you become a tagger. • To help your teammates, you can do team impressions

  3. The 5th Balance • 5 team members must balance 5 hockey sticks, 5 balls, 5 pinnies and 5 hoola hoops • ONLY ONE ITEM MAY TOUCH THE GROUND • Each member can only touch ONE item • All items must be connected in someway

  4. Log Crossing • Using only 3 benches and 2 rolling carts, cross the entire team over the river (gym wall to gym wall) • Nobody can touch the ground, everybody has to cross Adapted from: http://www.mrgym.com/CooperativeGames.htm

  5. Mat Mover • Your team is going one way, the other team is going the other! • Try to get your mat past the finish line! • All members have to be touching the mat to win. Adapted from: http://www.mrgym.com/CooperativeGames.htm

  6. Dead Ants • Start off with 2 Raid cans and the remaining players as the "ants". On the signal to begin, the "Raid Cans" will begin to tag as many ants as possible. When an ant is tagged, they must assume the dead ant position on the floor. The dead ant position is laying on your back with your arms and legs extended toward the ceiling. Dead ants must remain in this position until the game ends or they get rescued by the other ants. • To Rescue the dead ants: To rescue a dead ant, four live ants must pick up the dead ant by his/her arms and legs (1 ant per appendage) and carry them to an open hoop. Once the dead ant is placed into a hoop, they are immediately brought back to life. • At the end of the round, 2-5 minutes, we will add up the number of dead ants. If there are 5 or more dead ants on the floor, then the "Raid Cans" win the game. However, if there are less than 5 dead ants on the floor, then the ants win the game. • Misc. Rules: • 1. You may not tag an ant that is attached to the arm or leg of a dead ant. • 2. You must have 4 live ants to carry a dead ant. • http://www.mrgym.com/CooperativeGames.htm

  7. People Pyramid • Make sure your back and knees are straight • If you are in pain and need to stop, call out STOP, loudly (everyone dismantles quickly and safely) • Try to get a 3 stack pyramid, then go for 4 and more! Adapted from: http://www.mrgym.com/CooperativeGames.htm

  8. Tight Rope Walkers • Get your whole team across the tight rope obstacle course • If you succeed, you may add a obstacle for the next level, each level will have new obstacles • See which team can last the longest! Adapted from: http://www.mrgym.com/CooperativeGames.htm

  9. Monster Walk • In your groups, you need to get across the gym, connected • You may only have as many body parts touching the ground as you have team members (to start) • Each time you get across the gym, you lose a body part! • See how many times your team can get across the gym! Adapted from: http://www.mrgym.com/CooperativeGames.htm

  10. Volleyball Forever • Pick a ball (light, medium, sport) • In groups of 5, try to keep the ball up using only your hands • Count each hit you get, try to beat your record Adapted from: http://www.mrgym.com/CooperativeGames.htm
