  4. Reading the Graduation Requirement Report (Ignore these columns) What you need What’s in your current schedule What you’ve completed What’s left! (In Progress comes off Remain and goes to Complete once you pass the class.)

  5. Reading the Graduation Requirement Report So for example, this student’s English progress is as follows: English 9 – needs 1.0, has 1.0, so is complete (note the “Status” column) English 10 – needs 1.0, has 1.0, so is complete English 11 – needs 1.0, has completed .50, so it’s “IN PROGRESS” for second semester… English 12 – needs 1.0, has 0, this student will sign up for English 12! New students: You may not have previous school’s credits reflected if your counselor has not received an official transcript from your last school.

  6. Did you know? All students must pass the Reading and Writing HSPE to graduate. Math: Students in the Class of 2013 and beyond must earn 3.0 credits through Algebra 2 to graduate. Students in the Class of 2013 and 2014 must pass either the Algebra or Geometry End-of-Course (EOC) exam to graduate.

  7. Did you know? The Class of 2015 and beyond must pass: Reading and Writing HSPE Algebra EOC Geometry EOC Biology EOC The Class of 2010 and beyond must earn 2.0 lab science credits (at least one must be Algebra-based: Biology, Chemistry or Physics) for acceptance to a 4 year college.

  8. On Track to Graduate ? To be on track for graduation, you should currently have, at least: • 9th Grade – 2.0 credits • 10th Grade - 7.0 credits • 11th Grade – 13.0 credits Juniors, you will need to have 16 credits by the end of June to be a Senior.

  9. Making up Credit • Re-take course requirements at LHS • CLIP (Contracted Learning; Seniors have priority.) • District online eLearning program • Summer School (Tuition-based) • Correspondence classes (BYU, etc. Tuition-based) • Volunteer credit • Work credit • See your counselor for more information

  10. Review your Graduation Requirement Report and use it to figure out what classes you need to take next year. It is your responsibility to make sure you are meeting all graduation requirements! Advisory teachers will keep your Graduation Requirement Reportfor you. Go on Skyward if you want to review your Graduation Requirements.
