Smart Classroom Classifications • Basic (152): standard smart panel to connect a laptop, video projector, closed captioning capabilities • Intermediate (51): has all of the features of a basic room plus an instructor computer • Advanced (23) : Smart Podium, Windows based computer, control and interface panels, video projector, control buttons to toggle closed captions on or off, document camera Sacramento State, Summer 2009

Useful Information • Laptop works automatically with projector – resolution 1024 X 768 • 5 sec delay when displaying document camera content on monitor • Podium raises and lowers by use of hand lever – meets ADA compliance • Touch screens to be installed above podium –to read aloud screen information; control panel below podium has same functions • VCR’s will be phased out Sacramento State, Summer 2009
