The ARMON project at TU Delft has developed a statically balanced arm support designed for individuals with neuromuscular diseases or general weakness. This innovative device features passive gravity balancing with springs and allows for electrical adjustments according to the user's needs. With high balancing quality, low friction, and a single fitting for easy donning and doffing, it ensures the user's shoulder remains free to move. The design promotes trunk stability while maintaining an inconspicuous appearance. This prototype, ARMON ThA01.4, is a significant advancement in assistive technology.
