  4. We are here to help: • began operations in 1994 • international professional organization serving as the premier global organization for academics specializing in Information Systems. • Consists of approximately 4,000 members from 90 countries around the world History

First Canadian Student Chapter • The DeGroote AIS officially began operations on May 1, 2010 • selected and featured in the second annual student chapter conference which was held in Atlanta, Georgia 2010 • had the privilege of having a member serve on the inaugural AIS Student Advisory Board at this conference Your DeGroote AIS

  6. To promote learning in the field of IS • To help students pursue a career in this area Our Mission:

  7. We will accomplish our mission by: • Offering networking opportunities • Tutorials on different technologies throughout the year • Knowledge on how these technologies will apply to your future career What we do?
