Responsibilities of Each Committees: • Communication Committee • Coordinate with the VMHS Principal and Mother Alumni (for date of event and special guests) • Coordinate, Advertise, and Promote the event to the following media: Television; Radio; Magazines; Internet; Posters; Tarpaulins; Newspapers; etc... • Send out invitation letters and emails, sms, (if sending invitation letters: use silver motif

  6. Finance Committee • Decide how much is the full budget for the whole event (before; during and after the event) • Venue • Audio Video Rentals • Coordination/Communication expenses • Tickets and Registration expenses • Disburse Funds with a written request from the requesting committee with the approval of the EC chairman. • Report to the collected funds (from tickets and dinations) to the General Assemblies • Provide Final Report of the Event’s Income and Expenses; and other collectibles or payables after the event. • Organize fund raising activities/strategies

  7. Physical Arrangement Committee • Scout for a venue for the event: • Enough space to accommodate everyone comfortably • Enough chairs and tables • Well and properly ventilated (air-conditioned if possible) • Excellent Audio and Video Systems • Parking is enough • Rest rooms and enough and working • Water is strong • Properly lighted • With a stage for performers • Affordable but a good place

  8. Food and Beverage Committee • Cheap but great food and good preparation • Courteous servers • Drinking water is available • Ice is available • Drinks (Alcohol and Liqueur)

  9. Secretariat Committee • Design and submit event ticket before distribution • Provide tickets for distribution (selling and sponsorship) • Update tickets sold and number of people confirmed to attend • Facilitate registration and provide nametags for all (attendees, guests, and participants)

  10. Time Capsule Committee Create a time capsule by digging through school archives to find old pictures of our Batch, events; dance competitions; quiz bees; graduation; rally at Mendiola; Marcos and Cory; Music of the 80’s; Movies of the 80’s; etc. Seek out teachers who have been with V. Mapa High School since we were first year high school until present and ask them to write a page or two addressing their memories with the batch. Prepare a Powerpoint presentation and present the time capsule during a 25th-anniversary celebration. • Souvenir Committee Ideas for commemorative items: Tee-shirst; Mugs; Fans; Baseball Cups; Pens; Ballers; Wall Clocks; Bags; Photo Frames; etc...

  11. Awards Committee • Nominate awardees for the following categories: • Pioneer President • Academic Excellence • Successful Businessman • Highest Donors (top 5)??? • Social Significance • Most Outstanding Teachers of Batch 1986 • Alumni in Public Office (Barangay Chairman to President) • Physically Challenged but succeeded • Military Personnel • PNP Officers

  12. Program Committee • Prepare and propose detailed program to the Executive Committee • Control and facilitate the whole program of the celebration • Assign people for each items of the program • Opening and Closing Prayer • National Anthem • V. Mapa Song • Opening / Welcome Remarks • Speeches • Acknowledgements • Song Numbers • Dance Numbers • Fun Games or Ice Breakers • Dancing
