  1. Jack and The Beanstalk • Jack was a good boy who lived with his mother • They were very poor • He went to the market to sell their cow

  2. The Beans • A man offered him some magic beans for the cow • His mother was very angry when he came home with the beans and threw them out the window

  3. Climbing the Beanstalk • The next morning, jack saw a huge beanstalk outside his window • He climbed right to the top where he found a giant and treasure • “Fe fi fo fum, I smell the blood of an english man”

  4. The Treasure and the Journey Home • Jack stole the golden goose from the giant • He climbed down the beanstalk and chopped it down, killing the giant • He lived happily, and richly, ever after
