Conclusions • Endothelial cells respond to hypoxia/re-oxygenation similar to IR-treated tissue • Lipid changes begin during hypoxia • Downstream effects, namely PGE2 production, occur following re-oxygenation • Phospholipidscramblase 1 may be contributing to membrane lipid changes
