  3. 1925 – 2010 1925 The mechanical workshops in Medias, Sibiu county, join together and so Sonametan Medias is founded. 2000 Becoming a private company, the majority stake is acquired by Mr. Mircea Vescan. 2000 – 2010 The company is involved into an extensive and continuous process of modernization.
