  1. Extraordinary is a novel about a young girl, Phoebe Rothschild, who befriends the new girl, Mallory Tolliver, at the beginning of seventh grade. The two girls become extremely close and even feel like sisters. That is until Mallory confesses that she has an older brother , Ryland, who is coming to live with Mallory and her mother. At first Phoebe is upset that Mallory has hidden the fact that she has a brother but vows to make him feel welcome. The first time Phoebe meets Ryland she is instantly drawn to him, but she has no idea why. However, Ryland has used faerie glamour on Phoebe making it impossible for her to resist him.
