  3. PREVIEW AND PREPARE • WHAT DOES THE TITLE TELL YOU? • BROWSE THE ENTIRE STORY • LOOK FOR PICTURE CLUES THAT MIGHT TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THE STORY

  4. VOCABULARY • FILL OUT VOCABULARY KNOWLEDGE CHART • LOOK FOR 3 UNFAMILIAR WORDS IN THE STORY • READ EACH SENTENCE AND LOOK FOR CONTEXT CLUES (Remember these are “hints”)
