Strengthen your shoulder and shoulder blade stabilizers with this exercise. Lie prone on a table or physioball, engage your core, and raise your arms into a Y position. Slowly lower and repeat.

Warm-Up – Prone Y • Lie face down off the edge of a table, or on a physioball, with your core tight • Initiate the movement with you shoulder blades starting back and down • Follow you shoulder blades with your arms, raising them straight into a Y position with your thumbs up • Slowly lower your arms, then rest your shoulder blades • This movement will strengthen your shoulder and shoulder blade stabilizers
