  2. EARTHQUAKE • On Friday, 11 March 2011 there was the worst earthquake in the history of Japan (9.0 magnitude with a duration of 2 minutes). • The earthquake epicenter was underwater in the east of Sendai.

  3. This earthquake occurred where the Pacific plate and the North American plate are together.

TSUNAMI • After the earthquake and its aftershocks, the government alerted the population of a big wave that was coming from the epicenter of the eatrhquake. • The Tsunami wasn’t only threatening the eastcoast of japan, it was expected to crash with other countries: New Zeland, Australia, Rusia, the westcoast of almost all america,...

  5. After the earthquake, the aftershocks and the tsunami, there are approximately 13.116 deaths and 14.377 missing people.

The nuke problem • Aftertheearthquake, therewas a bigproblem in a nuke plant (Fukushima) whentheemergency reactors wherebrokenbythe tsunami. • Whensome elements of the nuclear energy mix withotherslikethehydrogenit’sdangerous and whenithappenedtherewasanexplosionthatbroke parts of thebuilding and someradiationwasreleased.
