Confucianism: Ethics and Order for a Balanced Society

Confucianism, established by Confucius, emphasizes personal virtue for political stability. It promotes social hierarchy, virtuous leadership, personal restraint, obedience, and respect. The role of women is clearly defined, with an emphasis on serving men and gaining power through sons. The Book of Faith, Confucius' Analects, provides insights into ethics and moral teachings. Confucianism interacts with Buddhism, Daoism, and Legalism, positioning itself as a system of governance rooted in discipline and order.
