INTRODUCTION • You are going to visit Istanbul with a friend from your Turkish 202 class for four days. • Are you ready to explore the one of the greatest and unique cities of the world? Are you ready to take a journey to a city which is the only city in the world that stretches onto two continents? • Let’s begin planning for your trip!
TASK With your trip partner, you will plan, • Your flight details • The places you will visit when you are there • The hotel you will stay at • The two shopping areas you will go and visit • Approximate budget for the whole trip
PROCESS • To accomplish the task, you should follow the steps below. Following the instructions listed below will make your tasks easier
Step 1 • Fill in the following table about yourself and your partner before you move on to visit websites. This table will help you decide on the details of your trip.
Step 2 • You can have the vacation in summer in either July or August. You will be flying with Turkish Airlines. Go to their website: http://www.turkishairlines.com/ and decide on the dates of your journey. Then, fill in the following table with the details of your trip. to/from NYC and Istanbul
