WWII Rationing • Rationing was a system that provided products. • Rationing made all items such as gas,oil,metal,meat and other foods very scarce. • Sugar and coffee were very scarce. • Everybody in all towns had a ration book. A ration book was a book with tickets that people could use to buy products.

  3. Junk Rally • A junk rally is a scrap drive. • People went around collecting scrap metal and other waste to create guns tanks and ships! • Most citizens had with the scrap drive.

  4. Victory Gardens • Citizens all around America during WWII planted victory gardens to honor the solders in the war. • Victory gardens were planted at zoos, race tracks, schools, back yards and library's.
