When you install another program, a different version of a shared system file may install on your pc. In windows pc, you face might be due to the Windows 10 components either going missing or corrupt. You can perform few troubleshooting steps mentioned here – Run a full computer scan with the Microsoft Safety Scanner to make sure that the computer is virus free. Run System maintenance troubleshooter. 1. Go to control panel. 2. Select system and maintenance. 3. Select troubleshooting. 4. In troubleshooting, go to system and security and select run maintenance task. 5. Select system maintenance and follow the on-screen instructions. SFC scan. 1. Press Windows key + X key. 2. Select command prompt (admin). 3. Type the below command: 4. Sfc /scannow In addition, when you uninstall another program, a person may click on “Yes” to the prompt about removing all shared files. Download and save Richtx32.ocx to the C:\Windows\System32 folder (for 32-bit Windows OS) or C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (for 64-bit Windows OS). Click on the Start button, and then in the search field right above it and enter CMD and press Enter. The Command prompt window will open. Next: If you have a 32-bit operating system type CD C:\Windows\System32 and press Enter. If you have a 64-bit operating system type CD C:\Windows\SysWOW64 and press Enter. Next, type the regsvr32, a space and richtx32.ocx and then press Enter. Click OK in the message box showing success. Try to open Legacy Software again. You should not have any black screen.
