  1. GUMBALL 3000 RALLY – THAILAND 2006 Between 4PM and midnight on Thursday, May 4th, 120 Gumball rally cars roared into Bangkok. Dumrong and the Meguiar’s Thailand team worked until 3am cleaning these very dirty rally supercars.

  2. The cleaning had to take place on the street in front of the Oriental Hotel. There was no water, just lots of NXT Speed Detailer, Microfiber towels, Bug N’ Tar Remover, Hot Shine, and M-66 as the finishing touch.

  3. The car looked beautiful when they left 8am sharp on Friday 5th of May!

  4. Each car had two Meguiar’s logos.

  5. Porsches, Lamborghini’s

  6. Ferrari’s Incredible Supercars All!

  7. Some of the Gumballers told of the three Mercedes McClaren SLR’s toping 200mph on the roads in the European part of the rally. (The Rolls Royce Phantom that tried stay with them crashed!)

  8. They were amazed by the Thai hospitality and the hard-working Meguiar’s team. Dumrong met the owner of the car company that owns all the BMW 7-series and VW Caravans used by the Oriental Hotel. After watching the Meguiar’s team in action, he wanted all his cars to be detailed at one of the Meguiar’s Detailing Centres!

  9. What a cool ‘car guy’ event! We met all the Thai press at this event, further cementing Meguiar’s Thailand positioning as the ‘Car Guy’ Car Care Company!

  10. Our MIB teams wished each car well at 8am as it left for the airport. Exhausted but cheerful after a long night and early morning only interrupted by a 2 – 3 hour nap in the office! The following day they were off to the BMW Thailand Club meet in HUA-HIN!
